2018 Recruiting Board/Thread

Worth noting: A&M has managed to sneak Brey Walker (OU), Vernon Jackson (Bama), Tre Brown (Bama) and Keontay Ingram (Texas) to campus without those programs being aware of it prior to the trips happening. That's what you call REAL recruiting and it bodes VERY well for the future, it's also why I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that happen again this weekend. Just not sure who that would be yet.

Worth Noting – Brey Walker is already signed with OU, so if he visited it is a NCAA recruiting violation.

This is why you can't believe much of what Looch says. And if you can, then he just gave up the school he covers to the NCAA.

And Looch, the idea of having to sneak people onto your campus isn't sneaky. Its that no one wants to admit publicly that they were visiting you. Its not like you had to sneak anything or that Tom Herman was going to somehow stop a recruit at the DeadDogtTown city limit sign.

My gawd they are a stupid lot.
Looch is a complete tool.

Cost to hire Jimbo Fisher on the downside of his career, 75 million.

Watching the ags a week before signing day at #36 in the class ranking, priceless.
That #36 ranking could be much lower if they lose O'Neal. I think O'Neal is their highest rated recruit and Bama is pursuing hard. Saban doing an in-home with him.

Okay, got it clarified. Apparently Looch is referring to a pre-NSD1 visit back in late October. While on campus, TOS quoted Walker as saying "This is not the place for me." Walker reaffirmed his commitment to OU the following Monday.

So why would you pound your chest about this? Chances are, they'll got NONE of the sneaked in visitors anyway. So he's more or less drawing attention to a class thats going to be downright depressing to talk about.

Click bait... He banned half the members.

Okay, aggy uses the excuse for their poor 2018 class to it being a new coach transition. However, these schools all have that in common with aggy, yet rank considerably higher than aggy in the recruiting rankings.

Oregon – #14

Florida – #18

Tennessee – #20

Miss State – #23

Nebraska – #28

Florida State – 30

UCLA – 33

Aggy is ranked #35

In fact, Aggy is dead last except for Ole Miss, who is rising in the rankings since Luke was hired.

By contrast, no school has seen a deeper fall in the rankings than Aggy. Since Jimbo Fisher arrived, they have dropped from #13 ranked class to the #35th ranked class.

The school with the second largest drop in the rankings? The school Jimbo left behind – FSU.

The Walker visit happened before he signed. And Texas knew he was going so that’s not accurate either.

This fine example of "real recruiting" by a coach no longer with the program somehow bodes VERY well for the future?

I might buy this aggy logic if I have my IQ reduced 60 points...

...and a serious head injury.

I also saw this new logic from them.  The remaining top targets for 2018 won't pick ATM because they don't want to compete for playing time against ATMs stellar 2019 class.  WTF?  That was seriously written on one of the boards.

Aggie Logic;  Yes they don't want to compete against Von Miller either
