I don't know if this is true or not, but Texags said Ossai's primary recruiters at ND were Lyght and Elston. Said Elko doesn't move the needle and that ND hasn't been a contender for some time.

I wouldn’t be as jumpy with that. SHA created this monster. If she’s on the kitchen table we need a commitment. Coyote is getting to old to jump out of his skin.

ND wasn’t really in it for awhile and Elko wasn’t his primary recruiter. Is there familiarity between the parties? Yes, and that definitely doesn’t hurt A&M with Ossai.
