Riddle me this, have any of you folks from Texas watched spencer sanders from Denton play??? He is committed to okielite and all my buddies here are raving about him. So looked him up 4 Star. This year his numbers were— 3300 passing, 1100 rushing and almost 60 TD's.... and not an offer from Texas per 247? Nationally ranked better than Casey Thompson... anyone know as to why UT didn’t offer? There a story here I missed? I like what we got I just found it odd is all

My son is friends with the Sanders kid. As he told me, OSU jumped in so early and Sanders became such a fan of 40-year old Mullet and his offense that we never really had a shot anyway.

Per The Football Brainiacs, the mother of JUCO OL Mikey Grandy wants him to sign with UT. 

Looks like we won the mom over. We'll see what happens Wednesday.

That wouldn't be surprising. Texas has a real shot with Grandy and they desperately need him. He knows that.

Just FYI, both Shea Dixon and Billy Embody have said they believe Anthony Cook will side with Texas on Wednesday. Would be a huge pickup.

Both are LSU mods for 247 I believe. If not 247, just know they are both recruiting analysts.

JUCO OL Mikey Grandy told our guy Mike Roach that ASU is squarely in the mix for his services now. But as Daniel pointed out, with an OC & DC still not in the fold, not too worried about them. As of now, nobody really knows where Grandy is leaning even though he holds a large amount of CBs to UCLA

Pretty telling imo that Shea Dixon is saying he believes Cook is choosing Texas. Shea is very plugged into the LSU program. Doesn't hurt that LSU is chasing after and offering other CB's right now.

Texas likely leads for Alexander, but this offer could trigger a blow up from other programs and if that happens he could take his time. 

I’m less optimistic about Grandy as things sit. 

The opposite can be said about Cook with LSU’s confidence fading and commencing the chase for other targets.

Also I work 10 miles from Owasso where Alexander plays ball at and word here from folks close to situation is this recruitment could be over quick, UNLESS this makes Oklahoma pull the trigger and give him a chance, then it’ll likly go toward Sooners favor.... couple guys I work with sons go to Owasso and that’s my info. So we just sit back and wait

I don’t think Cook’s commitment alone moves Texas past Ohio State.

Yup. A Texas offer could trigger some other regional schools to pull the trigger. If that happens it changes things a bit for Texas.
