SignUp Now!I actually mapped out how Texas can play HoeU for the Big 12 championship...and it's not too far fetched. When I get some time I'll post it. It's my dream scenarioIt’s possible but this is the only way, okie beat Sooners.....And okie beat ISU... and TCU beats sooners. And ya win out. Realistically that’s possible. Because all the teams I just said are fairly even in my opinion. Think the biggest will
be OKIESTATE beating ISU... I don’t know if that’ll happen in Ames.
Plus us win out. We ry past TCU and Iowa st due to head to head. Think all that makes since
I would say win 2 of the 3 and this doesnt happen. Hard to swallow considering we the lead in 2 of the 3 games with minutes left in regulationBecause they are winning and we will barely be bowl eligible. Win those 3 close games and this doesn't happen.
That is exactly what I was thinking.O U Suckers must be telling recruits that Orlando will be gone next year.
Current commit or expected commit?Heard there was some potential bad news coming out of this weekend for Texas. That one would sting.
It was about Adeoye.Current commit or expected commit?
Can you expand on it or some hints atleast?
Thanks was starting to wonder if it was additional pain to come to the already bad newsIt was about Adeoye.
Isnt this curious that both White and Adeoye are projecting to flip to ou?It was about Adeoye.
Thought the only knock on him was qualifying. Can he get into Texas now?Name to know with DL options becoming slim: Houston Lamar’s Josh Landry. Committed to Baylor.

Not sure.Thought the only knock on him was qualifying. Can he get into Texas now?
Not yet. I imagine they will try to set that up soon.Daniel,
Has Adeoye taken his official to Austin yet?
http://texas.thefootballbrainiacs.com/2017/10/open-post-monday-october-30th/– Ronnie Perkins: Going into this past weekend Texas was the leader for 2018 DE/DT, Ronnie Perkins. Perkins took his official visit to Oklahoma back in September and was immediately talking about a return trip.
After this past weekend’s official visit to Oklahoma, Perkins decided to pull the trigger and commit to Oklahoma.
The Texas staff is currently hard at work trying to get Perkins back down to Austin for a unofficial visit. I’m told that Perkins has given some indication that he may still be open to visiting.
But keep a closer eye on guys like Daniel Carson and Josh Landry (Lamar HS). – (Andrew)
– Anthony Cook: 247 Sports first reported that Hou. Lamar (TX) CB Anthony Cook delayed his original plan to commit on October 30th. He pushed the date back because he isn’t comfortable just yet on making his choice. I don’t believe this is bad news for Texas as I’m told Cook has yet to make a decision. But in talking to people close to the situation, it seemed that most felt Texas was likely to be the pick if Cook committed today.
Texas, LSU, and Ohio State are the final three for Cook. A big reason this decision has been delayed is due to the recent drop off of Ohio State in this recruitment. The proximity to home factor came into play and has hurt the Buckeyes. They were considered the clear favorite for Cook for the majority of this recruitment. Right now it’s down to Texas and LSU.
Texas has the commits with the best relationships with Cook (including two of his teammates) and it sounds like his Texas official visit was the most eye-opening. Though LSU’s recent DB success is stronger than almost every other program. He’s taken official visits to all three schools, so we’ll see if he decides to make any return trips.
Texas would still be my pick as of today, though the delayed decision does change things a bit. Remember Cook is an early enrollee, so he will commit sometime in December/January at the latest. – (Andrew)
– Ayodele Adeoye: Texas is trying to fight off a hard push by the Sooners to flip Texas LB commit, Ayodele Adeoye. Ayodele has let K know that he is considering a flip but is leaning towards taking his official visit to Texas before anything happens. As of right now, Ayodele is looking at a possible trip to Texas on November 11th for the Kansas game.
Texas had originally planned on him visiting later in the season but the situation with OU has changed that and they are trying to get him on campus as soon as possible. – (Andrew)
If they get him (Ayodele) to wait then the after high of the OU official visit will wear off. If he comes to Texas for his official on November 11th then they have a chance to strengthen the commitment. If he still chooses OU after the OV, then it wasn't meant to be. They can only ask to have a chance at this point.Hangin by a thread
