2018 Recruiting Board/Thread

Moore is being recruited as an athlete, not a slot or WR. Waddle and the La kid are the only slots we're still after. Moore could move to slot at some point but its not necessarily a natural fit. He could play on either side of the ball.

I think they'd take Bush and Preston because I think they'd accept Preston's pledge no matter what. I assume the grade thing has been checked out.

I want to flip Preston!

After all the BS that aggie has saying about Texas, Herman, and company...

thats a great question. Staff seems to want a LB, White was a miss and unknown about the Cali guy. I think we desperately need a LB that can play rover, we lose Johnson, Wheeler and Freeman after this year. AA and maybe Cameron Townsend are the only 2 that will have any LB reps inside, Demarco Boyd is there but hasn't played LB yet (i would love for him to be moved to H-back/FB). We desperate need a MLB/Rover LB in 2018 or 100% must go Juco in 2019. We play Lsu early in 2019 , will need LB to fill the gaps.

Can UT take both Bush and Preston? What makes them different?

I get Moore is a slot.

Bush is a super raw/High upside prospect that has a lot of nuances to learn as far as playing receiver. Lacks production due to his offense being run heavy so you would have to be patient as you bring him along. Redshirt all day long. 

Preston is like a baby Dez Bryant, but maybe not as freakish as Dez was at this stage. 

Moore can play inside or out and is actually being pitched on playing both sides of the ball. 

There are a lot of scenarios with how the WR position could close up.  It will be interesting to see how the staff plays it.

I believe this is the recruit that the aggies talked about. They said this is how we got Ossai. We promised his friend a preferred walk on if Ossai would commit.

That sr film is unreal. not sure the competition but he flys to the ball. Listed at 6-0 205 OLB/MLB. Could play rover for us. I don't get rankings but damn, me want!

Now on the on the other flip side Texas did pick up another commit however and I was on the phone earlier this morning with my connection buddy Texas did pick up another commit but can't say who it is or when this person will announce it.  What's funny is that I just happened to notice on Super K's twitter stating Another one..

Perroni saying the Wilson DE kid wouldn't allow us to visit him at school or at home this week and he's obviously not making an OV here anymore.  I find it interesting that the week we get 2 DE commits in Carson and Williams, the Ags decide to leave out that tidbit in their reasoning for Wilson no longer having interest.  Granted we'd still take V. Jackson if he wanted to join and Moro can play anywhere on the D-Line as well, but it is interesting just how desperate they are to paint any kind of positive recruiting info.  Watch the kid end up at Arkansas

Glad our guys are doing their best not to spoil the recruits fun.  These aren't silent commits, they're known, simply not public.  Aggy would blow this up if they had a true commit jump on board at the moment, that ship is sinking!
