You ain’t a kidding. I would definitely like to have another/several more Roaches. Mr. Roach was a great pull out of Louisiana.

His size varies from 6-1 200 to 6-2 240. Projected to DE, Roach position in our scheme. Great athlete but will likely need at least 1 year to RS and learn the DE position. 

A side benefit, he is teammates of 2019 stud CB D Stingley who is high on Texas.

DL recruiting could be in for a pretty solid close after things being pretty quiet for majority of the cycle.

 Jaylen Waddle: I had a chance to speak with 2018 WR, Jaylen Waddle a bit recently. Texas went to his basketball game on Friday night. Drew Mehringer, Tim Beck and Bryan Carrington were in the building.

Waddle says he is going to try to take a unofficial visit to Texas sometime this month. If that happens then I think Texas has a chance.

If not, then I expect him to end up at Alabama or Texas A&M. – (Andrew)

Jacoby Simpson – We mentioned Simpson last week. Texas dropped by to see him last Friday, the first day of contact period. Simpson said, “They (Texas) said they just wanted to see me in person and get to know me over the next couple of weeks. They’ll also be back next week to see me workout”.

Simpson will take a official visit to TCU this weekend. – (Super K)

Merlin Robertson – I covered Robertson while he was being recruited by Oklahoma. He and Oklahoma parted ways but it appears Texas has jumped in the mix for the very talented backer. Merlin says that Texas reached out to his father and Merlin will likely be setting up a official visit to Texas this month. – (Super K)

another website said he had one left. per 247 page he has taken 5: UH, Lsu, Ou, ASU, Illinois. Grades seem to be an issue. 

DL: Coburn, Ossai, Carson....who are you taking for the last spot, assuming you only have 1 more take, Ojomo, V Jackson, M Williams, Caleb O?  ill take Ojomo. 

I think staff would take two more if two wanted to come. 

M Williams and V Jackson are very similar players, but I think we'd take both. We have some room.

I'd take Ojomo, too. But everything I've heard says aggy leads. Daniel has maintained this for a while as well.

I hear we offered Williams pre-visit. We're sitting good with him. Something could happen there.
