this one sounding better --

Taquon Graham: As you all know, Texas will host Taquon Graham this weekend. Going into this week the Sooners looked like a serious threat for Graham and may very well still be. However, in speaking to a source close to Graham it does sound like this one is very much trended back in Texas’ favor. It sounds like Graham’s family would prefer to see him at Texas.

Graham’s feelings on Texas and the new Texas staff will likely determine the outcome of his recruiting. So, I expect to know exactly where Texas stands in the next few days. – (Andrew)

Scout says the deal with the two JUCO DTs is that we want more "length" there --

Larrell Murchison is 6'4, 290

Jamari Chisholm is 6'5, 290

Scout says we told them both we will extend verbal scholarship offers to both if they visit this weekend. Both of these kids are very fired up about visiting Texas this weekend.

We need true, 3-4 DEs who can play the 5-technique every down.

Makes sense

Last year it seemed that Malik Jefferson was regulary involved with recruiting the 2016 class. Was this a move by CS or has Malik resigned his recruiting coordinator role?

IMO few things come in to mind. First, Malik is about to be a junior. He may not be as connected with the younger players than before. Second, Malik didn't really have the strongest year. Last year he was a freshman all American. It was easy to bring him in front of recruits last year and tell them look what Malik did as a freshman, this could be you next year. Harder to sell Malik now with a down year. Down year for a lot of our young guys actually.

Read on HD that K'Lavon Chaisson took his entire family on the LSU visit............Is it wrong to hope the gumbo gives them the runs?
