"Carter is a special runner who has shown an ability from a young age to be a difference maker. Carter has a nice blend of skills. He has the size to be able to run through arm tackles and shows a good burst to make defenders miss. He has good top-end speed and solid track speed (10.87 100-meter) and it shows on tape as he can take runs the distance once he gets a crease. Carter is a middle of the field runner, and when he gets a seam, he hits the gas pedal and gets up the field quickly, wasting little time to get positive yards and break big plays. He is better running north and south but does show the ability to stop and go to extend plays and dodge defenders."
