2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Thank you to all of you night owls sharing the late night / early morning happenings.... I enjoyed reading those posts. 

WOW, just stunning to read the developments with Murray and the others.

Charlie's full court recruiting press sounds like it is fixin' to pay off big time.

He had a source "incredibly close to the situation" who said "absolutely no truth to the rumor of a press conference."
--  "Complete lie.  It is absolutely not true."

It's been a crazy ride. But if we entered 2015 with the class we have committed right this moment, I'm a happy man. Because I don't think anybody expected us to be pulling in a Top 10 class in Strong's first year. If we pull down another few huge names, all the better.

Which quite frankly, is fittingly hysterical. As there were many who were greatly concerned about Strong and Co.'s ability to recruit, or proclaimed lack of ability to recruit, throughout the season. Despite constant reminders that Strong does most of his work after the season has concluded. I'm sure these recruits are growing to understand and respect that when it's game time, Strong is focusing on those playing the game. They know they won't have a coach who is having to cut practice early so he can reach his swag copter in enough time to make a High School game. Rather, they'll have the entirety of Strong's focus when it matters.

This was, if he is wrong, he can wiggle out later - "that's not exactly what I said."

Last night he was doing that again.

The best I can tell, he was not happy about Ketch's stuff and seemed to suggest Ketch may have been putting it all at risk, acting irresponsibly.  To me, it seemed like he was trying to leave the impression that he had some of this info but prudently held it back.

Apparently at the time Murray/Lodge tweeted out the pics of the sweet tight-whitey jerseys, they had already been in Austin around 5 hours.

The lockdown on info was and has been pretty amazing

that is some poker fine recruiting at its finest right there but we got another week to go and its really coming down the wire here with two more OV's i assume...this weekend is huge out of all weekends OVs IMO
