I'm going to complain again. Why is an infielder, flirting with Mendoza line starting at 2nd in the batting order? This is the kind of stuff that gets you fired. Just ask the Rangers manager that started Mendoza enough for him to qualify for a batting title.

Kennedy went 6~13 this weekend, 2 HR’s and 5 RBI’s. His range at 2nd base is really impressive, and he has tons of speed when he gets on base. I like the move to him at 2nd.

Caught a little of today's game on ESPN+ Grubbs and Boehm looked good. Maybe Pierce has something building. Won each Big 12 series so far. Need to sweep BYU next weekend.

I'm amazed that this team keeps defying odds and winning each conference series. They don't always pass the eye test but if they keep this up they could be conference champs.

They've been inconsistent, both on offense and with pitching. One day or series, they look stellar and then the next awful. Keep scratching out wins though.

Totally agree with your first 2 sentences. The problem is they've had more bad loses (Wash series, TX ST, CC a&m) than good wins (TT & K St series). I'm not sure this team can go on the road to win both a Regional and Super. We'll see.

Texas loses last night at home to the perennial baseball powerhouse BYU 8-6. After spotting them a 6-0 lead, the Horns fought back but just couldn't overcome the mighty Cougars.

BTW, the closer for BYU was nails.

LBJ has not been efective all year. But Pierce sticks with him.. The great puzzle do samething and expect different results.
