I only watched 5 minutes of Georgia/ND game. I have already seen Kirby crying and complaining about calls.

I watched some of the 3rd and 4th quarters, he was crying during them.

Screw em, their fans in Austin weren’t the best.

Amen. I’ve had tickets for 25 years, and the Georgia fans were the worst to ever visit.

I have a buddy who is an OU fan (we all need at least one of these, don't we?) Anywho, he seems to think that OU has a real shot at poaching Ohio State's defensive coordinator. He says that the tOSU DC has a fiancé living in Norman or some such thing.

I had dismissed this as the musings of a heart-broken fan, but today he says that OU officials are meeting with said DC.

I'll say this for down-trodden OU fandom.... if they pull off the Washington St OC, QB and tOSU's DC - this is a pretty good step toward respectability in Norman.

It would probably be a good hire, but wasn't their defense the strength of the team? Adding a new DC with possibly a different system might stunt progression.

Oh yeah, I'd let go of the prestige of Ohio State to go to Norman, OK. While it would be a lateral move, it really wouldn't be a lateral move.

At OSU he has the best of the best athletes at his disposal. At OU, well, that is not the case and thats being nice.

OSU poached him from Okie State. But somehow, we managed to beat Okie State while he was there. If he truly does pursue the demotion, it wouldn't be anything to fear, IMO. The DC there is not the problem. The HC (who is a DC himself) is the issue. Venables would be looking over his shoulder every single day.
