First conference game and a sprinkling of “non-cupcake” games. All the shine definitely on Texas vs Michigan.WEEK 2
#4 Texas at #9 Michigan
Arkansas at Oklahoma State
McNeese at #20 Texas A&M
Tennessee Tech at #1 Georgia
California at Auburn
South Carolina at Kentucky
Middle Tennessee State at #6 Ole Miss
South Florida at #5 Alabama
Buffalo at #11 Missouri
Samford at Florida
Nicholls State at #13 LSU
#15 Tennessee at #24 NC State
Alcorn State at Vanderbilt
Houston at #16 Oklahoma
Mississippi State at Arizona State
Our favorable SEC schedule looking perhaps even more favorable. Teams that were in the middle of the conference may actually be closer to the bottom. Kentucky, Arkansas, OU and A&M all looking even more beatable than before the season started.Auburn is about to lose to Cal, 21-14, AT AUBURN.
South Carolina routed Kentucky 31-6, AT KENTUCKY
Arkansas lost to Okie State, 39-31 in double OT.
aggy beat McNeese State, 52-10 Whoop! lol
#1 Georgia beat Tennessee Tech 48-3
Thats it so far.
Auburn is not who we thought they were.
Kentucky is not who we thought they were.
South Carolina is notwho we thought they were.
Sam Pittman may have lost his job today.
aggy might as well play A&M Consolidated. They needed some confidence. lol
Back in SWC Texas played OU (non-conference) and Arkansas back to back. In that era, both teams were very good.ou and Ga back to back scares me
SEC team rankings according to KFordWell, it has been theorized for years that the SEC was trumpeted by ESPN and that it was a top heavy conference. SEC loyalist regularly mantra'd that since their top teams were always in the playoffs was the reason for their poor bowl season showing. I saw one of those SEC parody YouTube videos that showed even Vanderbilt walking into the gathering with a bit of swagger. No doubt the SEC has been on top of the college football world. But it is just teams like eATMe that ride the coattails of the top teams and claim MNCs when they have done nothing. There will always be a team that acts like the TCU Cockroaches of the old SWC and messes things up. It doesn't mean there is near parity top to bottom.
