Florida showed this week that despite being without numerous starters and backups, they can still play some football. They played Georgia close until the Dawgs finally pulled away. There are still some athletes making plays on this team and Texas should prepare for a fight.
Texas has it's own issues to resolve. Our RB room is thin. Our QB is in a funk of sorts. Our OL is suddenly struggling. However, we had a bye week to get things back in line and hopefully that is what Sark and staff did.
QB Lagway left Saturday's game early with an injury. No word on his playing status yet for Saturday's game. The third string QB wasn't totally lost, but he was a step down from the other two in front of him.
The Horns need to right the ship this week. Dominaite the Gators from start to finish. It is important, IMO, that we get out of our habit of starting slow or spotting the opponent an early TD.
Defense has an opportunity to take advantage of Florida's wounded status. Sacks anyone?
After the crazy weekend in college football, there was some movement in the top 25. Texas moved up a spot. Its funny that aggy is below LSU, whom they beat the week before.
