Florida showed this week that despite being without numerous starters and backups, they can still play some football. They played Georgia close until the Dawgs finally pulled away. There are still some athletes making plays on this team and Texas should prepare for a fight.

Texas has it's own issues to resolve. Our RB room is thin. Our QB is in a funk of sorts. Our OL is suddenly struggling. However, we had a bye week to get things back in line and hopefully that is what Sark and staff did.

QB Lagway left Saturday's game early with an injury. No word on his playing status yet for Saturday's game. The third string QB wasn't totally lost, but he was a step down from the other two in front of him.

The Horns need to right the ship this week. Dominaite the Gators from start to finish. It is important, IMO, that we get out of our habit of starting slow or spotting the opponent an early TD.

Defense has an opportunity to take advantage of Florida's wounded status. Sacks anyone?

After the crazy weekend in college football, there was some movement in the top 25. Texas moved up a spot. Its funny that aggy is below LSU, whom they beat the week before.

The line moved about 7 points in our favor after the Lagway injury. Our defense has been so solid all year, I can't imagine Florida finding much success.

If the offense avoids the costly turnovers, Florida struggles to put together 2 scoring drives.

Their offense can find success if we turn the ball over like we have been. If we take care of the ball, we will be just fine.

Lagway hasnt been ruled out

“And he’s been doing well so far (Monday) morning. We have not completely ruled him out (for Texas) and I think a lot of that will be to be determined as we move our way throughout the week. So that’s a good thing for all involved and certainly for DJ. … It’s gonna be pretty clear cut once we get to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. So, we’ll know.”

I'm calling this gamesmanship at this point. Make Texas plan for either QB for at least a few more days.

He also said something along the lines that at the QB position, it would be possible for Lagway to play with a hamstring issue. I like our chances quite of bit of facing a literally hamstrung Lagway.

I think you're witnessing a man who has his back against the wall. Texas will beat Florida like a drum if they use that 3rd string QB. Sounds like Napier will try to force something here. He may not have another loss left.

We need to cut down the penalties and turnovers. That would tell me the coaches did their job over the bye week.
I've got a feeling Flood tuned into enough of an asshole to rectify the problem. When I played and we made mistakes like that, we embarrassed the whole team and endured the wrath of the position coach.

Watched Florida vs Georgia last week and when they were hanging with Georgia I didn’t once hear announcers says “they have so many people out 2 best DB, 2nd string QB, 2 best WR. Jesus Christ shut the hell up. Texas is playing who is in front of them

One of the announcers is an ex Florida QB.
