The Texas Longhorns (20-12, 9-9 Big 12) will open play in their 38th NCAA Tournament on Thursday with hopes of advancing past the First Round for the third straight year. As the No. 7 seed in the Midwest Region, Rodney Terry’s team will have to get past the 10-seeded Colorado State Rams in order to do so. 27-11 at the half. I ridiculed Virginia for only scoring 14 in the 1st half a day ago. Now CSU only musters 11.

Cautiously optimistic. CSU can get hot from time to time.

Need to get Disu going. Horns might slip by tonight, but we're going nowhere without him at full capacity.

Somehow this win didn’t build my confidence for the next round.

Texas has met expectations for the season. Terry is doing work! All victories going forward are cherries on top to a rebuilding type of season.

It feels good to win even if it’s just the first round so far. 2 years in a row for Terry!

Texas Men’s basketball….. build a lead, squander in second half regardless of who the HC is. Why can’t Texas Men’s basketball finish?

Disu is our best player no doubt but he was an offensive liability last night. With the bricks he was throwing up last night, he is now an honorary Mason in Pflugerville!
