2024-2025 Transfer Portal Thread

This room is full and probably the most talented in the nation (as you stated). I wonder if there would be a casualty like (random example) losing Vasek. I wouldn’t want that.
Saw a report that Trey Moore is leaning on coming back. Still would like Wilson from UGA and let the best men win the jobs.

This may have already been stated, but Quinn stated unequivocally that he’s going the NFL route and has no idea where the college rumors are coming from.
Until he gets drafted, you never know....Carson Beck declared for the draft, then changed his mind to go to Miami

Would love to have him. Iron sharpens iron. Best man wins the job. No position is a given.....unless your Arch, Hill or Simmons.
You wouldn’t wanna player that proves to be better on the field than either of these guys? Granted, I have no idea who that could be, but…

Of course I would, I'm just saying I think those 3 are going to be studs next year and might be top 5 at their respective positions.

We're going to have quite a log jam there. Collins returns. Vasek will be healthy again. Burke returns. Plus we get the freshman Lance Jackson who is ready for the SEC, size-wise. And then Moore, if he returns.

Moore might be open to a LB spot because thats where he likely ends up in the NFL.

Keep an eye out for Georgia WR transfer Anthony Evans (Converse Judson grad). Kid runs a 4.3

He's been used mainly in the kick and punt returns. 17 punt returns for 129 yards and 7 kick returns for 124.

At WR, he wasn't used as much, probably due to depth in front of him. But he did have 9 catches for 88 yards and 1 TD.

More on Evans . . . Texas is not looking at him as a WR, but rather a return guy. Evans is not elite as far as skins on the wall, but can be elite in the return game.

Texas does not currently have anyone better than him to return punts, kicks.

The antitrust suit is going to abolish the 85 limit soon. It will be bumped to 110 likely.

According to this article we are currently at 99 scholarships for 2025, so 14 over the 85.

Not sure when they need to get to 85.

Not sure where they got the 99 from. According to 247 Scholarship Distribution Texas is sitting around 84 scholarships (including the 4 transfers). I went ahead and took out Ewers, Banks, Blue, and Golden. I left Bond, Cam Williams and Trey Moore in for now, but I have a feeling at least Bond is gone. Unless they're counting others like PWO and stuff, Im not sure where they got to 99.
