I haven't watched the whole game yet but I did see a little part of the 1st half. If we could have hit our FTs, we would have had a bigger lead at half. I think we only shot 67% from the line in the 1st half. I see we finished at 81% so glad to see them make their FTs in the 2nd half.

From the Box Score, I see Pope had an extremely rough game however Heidi had another good one (played a lot of mins) to help balance it out. I'm thinking Miller told him to up his game or ride the pine. Weaver only playing 15 mins is strange but as I said, I need to watch the game to see why.

We have 4 games left at home and 4 on the road. We win all our home games and steal 1 or 2 on the road, we should be in the tourney. I'd love to beat aggy in their house!

Texas beats Ole Miss 78-68. Texas gave up an 18-pt lead and Ole Miss led by 6 at one point, but the Horns scored the final 11 points of the game to pull away.

This game was one of the got to haves. Must win two of the next three.

Texas is now 15-9.

On the Austin news last night, they showed a young boy in Texas gear high-fiving Beard. The students though were booing him. I'm still pissed he screwed up a great thing here.

Texas beats Ole Miss 78-68. Texas gave up an 18-pt lead and Ole Miss led by 6 at one point, but the Horns scored the final 11 points of the game to pull away.

This game was one of the got to haves. Must win two of the next three.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was very upset that Texas gave up that 13-point lead at half. Until the last 3 1/2 mins, Ole Miss flat outplayed us in the 2nd. Pope hit a 3 to tie it at 68 then Wilcher hit a 3 with 41 secs left to put the nail in the coffin.

Swain had an off game, but Big V had his best game ever with 27pts and 7 boards. Mark added 19 pts to offset Swain. Big game on the road next Saturday at Missouri.

What’s worse is we actually had an 18pt lead late in the 1st half. We then went ice cold and Ole Miss couldn’t miss for the next 20 minutes.

Side note: I went to the game yesterday, my first game at Moody. It is so much better than the Erwin Center for watching a game.

If you remember, Beard always game plans to take away the other team's primary weapon. At times, they doubled up on Swain. He couldn't breath. Good thing Matas had the game he had.
