While some SEC teams are set in the final standings. Several aren't. So, arkie, LSU, fake ut, bama, blow u, bama, vandy, Georgia, aggy, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, and Miss St. all have desire to move up in the SEC tournament champ tournament. Only Texas at 1, Missouri at 16, SC at 15l aggy at 14, but needing tp get to at least 13 wins to possibly getting in. Where does some of the others fall between 4 and 11.

4th inning went south with a couple of errors. His performance could have looked a lot better had defense that inning been cleaner.

I do agree, he hasn't been very good his last 3 starts (avg of 6 runs given up and only 7 innings pitched combined)

What does Texas need to do to earn the #1 seed?

I think we are pretty safely a lock for a top 4 seed at this point. Most publications still had us the #1 seed heading into this weekend. Getting the win over OU and clinching the SEC Championship only helped our cause in that regard. I think winning the series today would lock us into the 1 seed, even if we go 0-1 in the SEC tournament.

Competition for the 1 seed. LSU was ranked #1 overall by some. They dropped a game to a bad South Carolina Team. FSU was been ranked 2, they've dropped their first two games to #4 UNC. Speaking of UNC, could they leap frog Texas by winning a series over #2? Probably not if we win today and they lose.

Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia have also taken losses so far this weekend.

If we lose today, we'd likely need a good showing at the SEC championship to hold on to the top seed.
