I agree with you.

Is it fair to say that Colt had a better career.... but Vince's Junior year is unparalleled? Before Vince's junior year, he was an incredible athlete / runner / leader. His junior year he became an incredible QB. The pass - run threat was seemingly unstoppable.
I agree with this. Vince never had over 300 yards of Total Offense in a game until his 21st game as a Longhorn. He just kept getting better and better. That junior year is the stuff of legends.

A lot of people would argue Colt's best year was as a sophomore.

Let's hope Quinn keeps improving like Vince did.

Let's send up a prayer for Trey Owens this week as he and his team face off with Galena Park North Shore. lol

It will be interesting to see how he does.

Correct me if I'm wrong.... but Texas was so happy with their LB haul last year, that they only offered 2 or 3 this year - and were okay with not taking any. He was one of the ones that had an offer.
Offer board shows 14 LBS with offers.

Colts worst year was his soph. His Junior year he was in beast mode.

IT saying S Xavier Filsaime made it to campus today with his father, and they wouldn't be surprised if he returns once more before the early signing period.

He plans on being in Gainesville this weekend for the FSU game.

If he returns again then this is serious. It will be good for him to see Florida go down again.

He didn't specify if this was an official or unofficial visit. I assume unofficial and it also sounds like it was a quick visit, but again, he didn't really specify.

If there is a talk of a return, I would think the return visit would be used as an official. I'd expect a big official visit weekend (in importance, not size) on December 9th.

Ummm...VY led the nation in completion percentage his last year at Texas (regarding arm talent). He was NFL offensive ROTY and a Pro Bowler. To say Vince wasn't an NFL quarterback is ridiculous...
Agreed. But we saw it for one year. He was a pretty poor passer years 1 (especially) and 2. Vince had a strong arm, but his Uncle Rico delivery made it deceptively strong. I believe the much maligned Greg Davis deserves a hefty standing ovation for the development of Vince and Colt.

Vince was greatness. His greatest attribute may have been his ability to lead. I can't think of a better college football player.

Unofficial.

Colt's second year was his worst, inarguably. His third year was his best.

Sorry, that is correct. I got the year wrong. I more meant to say he took a step back his senior year while Vince kept progressing.

Agree. VY started seeing big success when Mack and Davis decided to stop trying to mold VY into something he was not. Once they let Vince be Vince, he took off.
