Admittedly not sure how the tiebreakers work if multiple teams finish with the same record. I thought it was the highest-ranked team but not sure.

I forgot they beat KSU. I think it is the highest-ranked team if there are 3 or more tied. If that is the case, ou will be in the championship due to ranking. They are still media darlings and many will want a rematch over Texas playing osu or KSU.

Nope OSU has tie breaker over OU as well. It’s not highest ranked team.

And I hope they win out because I’d much rather play okielite than KSU or OU again

This team has had a LOT of luck. Reminds me of TCU last year. I don’t think we are ready for Georgia or Ohio State.
But I will be satisfied with being Big 12 champs for the first time in forever

the only thing worse about not making the CFP, is to make the Final Four and get smoked in the semi's

At the end of the day, it comes down to player skill and execution. How many missed blocks resulted in plays getting blown up? A lot. Or defensive players being out of position or missing a tackle? A lot.

If we were able to make the CFP, it would almost certainly be as the 4th seed which means we'd have to play the #1 seed in the first round. Yeah, we're a good team, but not sure we're ready to win a game like that just yet.
