Maybe Iowa will finally move on from Ferentz.
I'd like to see them promote his son just for the meltdown. And hire who? I thought Ferentz was a Hayden Fry clone. I'm sure they will find another.
Back to years ago. Played them every year for a long time. Bad part it will help thier recruiting espicaly Arkie. So how does the board feel about playing aggy, ou, and Arkiesaw every year?

Saban has previously been supportive of 9 conference games. I believe this is his attempt to complain about the proposed 3 Alabama annual games and not be totally ignoredIs this because it would lower the # of creampuff teams on their schedule like New Mexico School for Blind and Deaf, South Hampton Institute of Technology (SHIT) and Birmingham School for the Performing Arts?
I think it's the best scenario based on rivalries and geography. So how does the board feel about playing aggy, ou, and Arkiesaw every year?
Saban doesn't want anything that takes away any advantage he has, so he'd prefer a gimme game late in the season as opposed to an additional conference opponent. Is this because it would lower the # of creampuff teams on their schedule like New Mexico School for Blind and Deaf, South Hampton Institute of Technology (SHIT) and Birmingham School for the Performing Arts?
Saban is upset because the three annual opponents would be Auburn, LSU and Tennessee.Saban has previously been supportive of 9 conference games. I believe this is his attempt to complain about the proposed 3 Alabama annual games and not be totally ignored
I suspect the financials of a 9 game SEC schedule are going to be quite compelling. The coaches that don't like it will be from schools that are concerned about bowl eligibility.
What gives me pause on this is – these are three teams that, when they play Texas, it's their Super Bowl.I think it's the best scenario based on rivalries and geography.
That's always been my bet.
I really want OU and Texas A&M every year. I didn't experience the Arkansas rivalry first hand so I'm not concerned about that one. What gives me pause on this is – these are three teams that, when they play Texas, it's their Super Bowl.
Remove Arkie, gimme someone we're not familiar with, and I'm good.
