I really want OU and Texas A&M every year. I didn't experience the Arkansas rivalry first hand so I'm not concerned about that one.

I wouldn't mind LSU being the other. Would help us recruit the boot...and would give me a game 1.5 hrs away from New Orleans every other year.

I bet Vanderbilt is pretty popular in the SEC when it comes to scheduling. lol

Yeah, there is Sanders. One guy who really hasn't proven he can coach, only that he can recruit. I hope he has success but don't figure he'll be there long.

I suppose the time zone thing is a thing, but you're adding a bunch of meh schools to achieve that. That really doesn't help them cut into the SEC share and dominance.

I'd rather have a conference with 8 schools that are competitive year-in, year-out, than have a collection of meh.

I guess I no longer have a dog in this fight, but my God, what about 1-11 made this place appealing? CU doesn't do squat in anything.

Yeah, there is Sanders. One guy who really hasn't proven he can coach, only that he can recruit. I hope he has success but don't figure he'll be there long.

I agree with you, but at this point the B12 has nothing to lose. The minute Texas and ou leave, they are a collection of meh schools. Even the schools that have had some success recently will not be as relevant. Recruiting is going to dip for everyone. Why not bring in cu along with the new schools joining this year? One of those schools may get lucky and make some noise and right know cu is at least bringing in media attention.

The other day I was checking out a Colorado msg board. Mostly I was curious about if they thought CU was heading back to the BIG12,  and if so what they thought. 

The unanimous take on their boards was that the BIG12 was meh, but they were likely going to be joining it. And that they will dominate the BIG12  because "Coach Prime" is basically a football god. Their thinking was that they would become so dominant in the BIG12 that the SEC or the B1G would invite them to join in about 5 years. 

I can remember a few years ogo Jacksonville State fans thinking Sanders was the answer,  and would get them an invitation to a power5 conference. 

Sanders is obviously good at generating excitement,  and recruiting at a higher level then the staff he is replacing.  Time will tell, if Sanders can be a successful coach, if he can he will likely move on to a bigger stage as soon as the opportunity presents. I think him flaming out is a more likely outcome.
