You are proably right. Other than Whitt and X (who has not been consistant) the others have done nothing on the field. Great potential.

The OL had a pretty good year.
Just thinking about offense right now,

WR is stacked with current and future talent

OL is stacked with current and future talent

RB is stacked with current and future talent

QB is stacked with current and future talent

TE after Jatavaion Sanders we lack big time difference makers.

On defense, feels similar except the one spot lacking is d-line.

Except for catching TD passes in the national championship game. But yeah, he's done nothing. lol
When he does that at Texas I will agree. Last time I looked scoreing for the  Bull Dogs does not help Horns at all.

What do you think Texas is? The Bermuda Triangle of college football?

The refusal to acknowledge previous successes in order to be able to say it hasn't been done at Texas really only makes you think there's something very wrong with Texas.

Personally, it makes no difference to me what will turn your head. Thats kind of a personal thing anyway.

Next time, you should qualify your statement by asterisk or whatever, saying your statement only applies to players who played at Texas the previous year. The significance of the statement changes when you're ignoring incoming talent.

I think this season, a Big 12 title is expected. Anything less than that is below grade. We have the most talented roster in the conference with tons of experience too.

I don't know or care about CFP or bowls. I just want to win the conference and let the rest play out.

First I think Texas is proud football school that for the last 20 or so years has been trying to get back to where they once was. Not to much luck.

To me there is a big difference in potential and prefofmance. All or most all the Alabama fejects Sark brought in had potential. Preformance not so much.

Neyor was going to be with Worthy unstopable. So for not so good.Mitchell might catch 70 orso passes for 1500 yds.( hope he does).

As for as incoming talent Horns have had talent come in for years, not much done with it. This is the yeat, we are back

If ifs and buts were facts Horns would won several championships in last few years.

On the head turning I will think about. Have a good day and a better tommorow!

It's true that we have had more then our fair share of apparent tsllent wasted over rescent years so your skepticism is natural.

I think the biggest problems on offense going back to the last years of Mack Brown has been lackluster offensive lines. That problem appears to have been addressed with the current staff. This team seems to have all of the tallent needed to win it all. If the staff is as good as advertised at developing players and game planning then we are looking at a nice run going forward. On the other hand we suck until we don't.

The talent has not come in like it has under Sark since DKR. I think that's the head-scratching that you're causing with your "please me or be done with you" approach. Even in the short time he's been here, we've seen big time development under Sark. Players improve here now.

You're free to think what you like, but it seems foolish not to see the differences, if we truly did pay attention to teams of the past. I did. And I see a much different football program now.

Game time for the Alabama game has been set for 6 p.m. Thats better than the 11 am start we did in Austin.

Belive Brown had acouple of years that talent was equal to now's

Do not know how my headscratching got in the postings.Or the please me now etc.

My parents taught me to think for myself. And you are right There is a difference in program in a lot of ways except in the winning.

The headscratching comes into play because you seem to think people become crippled and stupid once they enter Austin, Texas city limits. Discounting a player who proved himself at Georgia is idiotic, at best. And he did it on a far bigger stage and for a better team, against better competition.

As for the winning, we improved last year. The talent has improved. Experience was gained. The trajectory is up. You ignore that then want me to explain what's wrong with your position. lol

It really doesn't matter what you've seen before. That was then. This is now.

On the cripples a lot have it happen not only at Austin but else where.Only Watts among the transfers hasreally been a big help.

I need no explanation of my position. And I don't care a tinkers damm on what players do atGeorgia. It what they do at Texas that mattersAnd We improved from last year. That did not take too much. Hod didwe do compared to the terrible coach (glad he isgone) to 3-4 years back. I would say we have regressed.

HopeHorns win all games this season, but excuse me if I have to see it happen first.
