Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

He will fit in perfectly in the NFL. That game is scripted
I remember when I was a wee lad (lol), around 18 years old and working for the media. Me and a photographer were sent to do a big story on the Von Erichs vs Free Birds rivalry, which included attending a series of matches.

I was in disbelief while shooting some photos, that I was hearing the wrestlers communicate with each other, telling the other guy what the next move was. lol

My life was never the same after that. lol

Never was into golf. Last played at Weisbaden air base 1989 Sunny spring day and Bitburher was cold.

Soon be too hot for golf, too hot to fish and too old at home.
I like playing when it’s hot, less people out there. Best day is morning tee time and finish the evening fishing or vice versa.

The fishing is ok. The too hot part is from a country song but it says too cold at home. One of my attempts at humor gone wrong. except for UTFish.

Since the 2023 Recruiting thread is off the main page, I'll put this here. For all of y'all that voiced your doubts about Trevor Goosby, and I won't name names, he has blossomed. Last year he was 6'6" and weighed in the high 240's, threw a shot put in the mid 40's. This spring he is 6'7.5" and 285. Threw a shot put 57'. Flood knows what he's looking for. He did it at Alabama and now Texas. All this is per Gerry Hamilton.

IMO Coach Flood's room is most improved one on the team.
Flood has earned himself a lot of leeway. He has brought in some dudes and improved the OL play drastically. Once the high 4 stars and 5 stars develop and take over, this OL could be great.

WR's still have a way to go as for as on field preformance. Might not be all thier fault.
I don't agree with this. X, Mitchell and Whittington would make any WR room great. Add to that Neyor, Cook, Moore Jr and Niblett

You are proably right. Other than Whitt and X (who has not been consistant) the others have done nothing on the field. Great potential.

The OL had a pretty good year.
