I thought he was honored on Senior Day. Isn't that reserved for leaving players?

I thought Dicker the Kicker announced he was leaving.  Maybe it was just the Senior Day honoring that threw me off.

He has been deciding if he'll take the COVID year of eligibility.

It is probably related to the question in the post – Who's Next? But it has been used many times with this regime to indicate someone has committed.

Sark talked about having players honored on senior day just in case. There were a handful of guys honored (or initially on the list to be honored) because they had pending decisions.

Probably just the cold hard truth that he was never going to make any kind of significant contribution here. 

Although there are players in his position who do, players with his national ranking and offer list are working against a stacked deck.
