Hate to say it, but Texas should probably be looking for a 2nd QB in this class. Sam is injured and out for the year. Seems injury prone.

Just a side note regarding QB depth, Many people say Herman will most likely move Heard back to QB

Maybe he can actually develop Heard as a QB just as he did with Greg Ward Jr.

Granted Sam has battled injuries this year but I don't think I would consider him injury prone.

i can see that happening since there really isn't any competition with experience at qb and having any chance at redshirting sam.

Where have you seen this info? I've seen people wondering about moving Heard back to QB but I've not seen anyone say that they have any info that it will actually happen.

Doubt that happens. I think I read that his shoulder injury was pretty severe and could/would prevent him playing QB again.

Where have you seen this info? I've seen people wondering about moving Heard back to QB but I've not seen anyone say that they have any info that it will actually happen.

I listen to the Horn 104.9 and The Bottom Line with Chip and Sean daily. They interview so many sports writers I can't recall specifically who stated it, but I do know I have heard it mentioned as a very probable scenario more than once.

I think the Hypothesis stems from people thinking Shane B's lack of running ability as a disadvantage in Hermans system

Personally, I don't think Heard can handle the responsibility of the position and UTK66 also made a great point regarding his shoulder injury.

Man, I can't help but wonder what if.

I was reading about this on another site and someone posted some Heard highlights from 2015. I know there were definitely some lowlights, but damn, there were some impressive highlights.
