there was a steal in top ninth and they said mike morris made the correct call.

Game was tight all the way through, but the 'Hoos scored one in the 8th & another in the 9th.

Why was Arky the home team. Shouldn't they have been in the #8 seed place and Virginia in the #1 seed place ? Is it just an ESPN/SEC thing to give the Hogs home team in the game ? Used to assume the seed of the national seed you defeated to get there and Virginia beat Maryland who knocked off UCLA, so they should have been given the #1 seed position. Arky beat the #8 seed to get there......Didn't matter since the Hoos won.

Pulling for Virginia to win this thing if TCU doesn't. Hate SEC, hate Miami and Fullerton but pulling for them to beat SEC teams. Wind must have been blowing out today in Omaha....2 HRs.....wow.

Thanks Slim,I was looking across a restaurant at a screen. I played high school baseball sort of (he was a senior when I was a freshman). He also had some iffy outings during conference including the Okie State series.

Florida murdering Miami 15-3 in the 8th. Game got away from the Hurricanes when they brought in a pitcher with fastballs in the upper 70s.

TCU is one of the most opportunistic teams I have seen. 10 runs on 8 hits, they had 4 runs on 2 hits in Monday's game through 6 innings. The speed on the basepaths forces mistakes and has covered up their lack of power. It is fun to see a team winning with station-to-station ball in a year where the ball is flying out more than any other year in this decade.
