A Good Day Just Got Better

Are you in the practice round?

I will be your caddy or just bring you mint juleps or your favorite cocktail - call me!

Been to a practice round and a tourney round.  That place has to have the most beautiful landscaping in the world.  And a certain aura that only world class sporting events have. You'll love it.

Went to the mailbox and there was an envelope from the Augusta National Golf Club with 4 tickets to the Wednesday practice round in it!
I've got a 6 month old registered Longhorn calf I'll trade you for them.  :P

(but only if they are pro-am tickets)

I hope it rains. All day. Hard.

And bring me back a hat.
I went to Augusta 10 yrs ago for a practice round

I saw  4 shots all day, the rest of the day was suspended due to rain.  I did get to walk the course and I did get to go in the clubhouse and meet Nicklaus.

That was pretty cool.  I hope to go back some day

I had an opportunity to go see the Masters 3 years ago.  My wife and daughter strongly suggested that if I wanted to keep breathing, I would stay in town and attend my daughter's wedding. SMH.

Was this a surprise or did you purchase the golden tickets?
I won them in the lottery that the Masters has every year which you only pay face value for. A little backstory on these that illustrates how much class the Masters people have.

I won 4 tickets to last year's Monday practice round. We gave them to some friends and the Monday practice round got rained out and the course was closed at 10:00 that morning. A week after the Masters I get an email from the Masters telling me that I would get a full refund on my tickets and would be assured of getting tickets again this year. I assumed they would be for Monday but was pleasantly surprised when they were for Wednesday. The cost of the tickets did go up 30% from $50 per to $65 per.
