Even though the visit had been pushed for a long time, doesn't the "out of the wild blue" timing indicate something behind he scenes happened?
If I were a betting man, I would bet something happened between Murray and Sumlin - or something is happening with that program.
I wonder if Matt or Roach could find out?

I'm thinking the same thing.. I can't but help and laugh at the thought of Hamm trying to get a quote from Murray to help his followers from jumping off a cliff. The fact that Murray STILL hasn't put the Aggies at ease after this visit has to mean the threat is more serious then we all thought. The longer this radio silence goes on the better.

I'm honestly thinking that the fact his whole family is making the trip, means they are going to try to sell Soso on staying close to home. Also it has been said that recruits wanted to get on campus so they could commit since coach strong wouldn't have it any other way, Soso moving his visit up a day could be his way of beating out the other RB recruits to a commit. If he does commit we would have to think this either means he knows something about Murray or is trying to convince Murray to join him. I've read somewhere that Soso has stated he would love to be on the same team of Murray.

Warren playing so coy may well cost him. But Soso and Brossette would make a great pair of backs to go with what we have.
I know fans are all excited and scared at the same time, but I Love the fact that Coach Strong is man enough to take these risks because they are worth it. Call it a gamble if you want to, but Go big or go home. Being all conservative in life does not win championships. We just have to sit back and trust Coach Strong regardless of what we think is happening, because he obviously knows what he has to do and is willing to do what it takes to win here at UT. Murray would be awesome to have, Gentry would be awesome to have, Heard will be awesome to have, just gotta trust Chuck F'in Strong. He's playing some great poker right now.
It wasn't tactical. He had to move it due to conflict with events at his high school. Their banquet I think it was.
I am not sure if all the family is still along since the change. Hope so. And I am sure we will hear soon enough on that.

The banquet wasn't a surprise or last minute - so I assume his visit to Texas didn't change so much as media just found out Soso was coming in on a Thursday instead of on the weekend. Hopefully that means the family was planning to come on a Thursday all along.
Sometime in the past hour or two Kyler has started following Riley Dodge.
He is UT QC. He is also listed as an Offensive Assistant
And, FWIW, Dodge followed him too.
Murray's last 3 follows have been DeShon Elliott, a Mavs dancer, and Dodge.
Hard to argue with any of that
