2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Ketch claims -- "I was told two months ago that Murray would either sign with Texas or go pro baseball."

Suchomel says Strong, Watson, Wickline, and Rumph were all there yesterday for Murray/Lodge
---"Information is very, very tight. I've reached out to Lodge and Murray's fathers, but as expected, haven't heard back from either. When I say  ---things -are on lockdown, I mean really on lockdown. I heard the gates to Moncrief were literally locked so nobody could get in"

Call it level 3, but a person close to one of the recruits thinks there's a reason Texas fans should be cautiously optimistic in this one.

Higdon says Lodge and Murray will not be taking an OV.  But doesnt think this is a bad thing.

And Murray's most recent twitter follow is DeShon Elliott https://twitter.com/TheKylerMurray/following

Higs -- "Very high stakes game at this point, with 2 weeks before NSD.  We could end up with Gentry, Kyler, Lodge, Mack, Boyd or Hill, or we could loose 5 out of the 6 to A&M, our chief recruiting rival."

welcome to poker recruiting 101..at its finest this has gotten a new high level of recruiting

This is going to really suck if we lose out on Gentry and don't get Murray.  At that point we'd just be praying that Kai Locksley flips and is capable of playing QB at the college level.

FWIW - I haven't given up on Heard, assuming Watson can adapt.

It's foolish to think that UT's recruitment of Murray "ran off Gentry".

Harbaugh to Michigan changed everything, particularly for QB's who wanna play in a pro-style system. Who knows more than Harbaugh about playing QB in the NFL among CFB coaches? Combine that with our speculated change to a spread-option attack and there you have it.

I wish the young man luck if he ends up at Big Blue.

Saw these on my timeline...looked at Cecil's twitter...still there. They're mixed in with re-tweets, but this preview isolates just the tweets. While Malik has made it a point to be easy on promoting (at least prior to enrolling; though now he is officially past LOI and is enrolled),... Cecil remains spirited about matters.

was these tweets very recent?????

Thanks J.B., good read.  So what are the chances we look to blue shirt Murray if he comes?  Since his was not an official visit, and I don't think he has had an in-home, I would say this may be a real possibility.  That gives us a player at a position of need without counting against our 25, right?
I've never seen or heard the term "blue shirt" before reading this article, but yeah, it looks like a possibility! It'd be great to count Murray's scholarship against 2016 numbers!

The minutes shown were a few minutes before I "grabbed" the image.

They are about an hour old as I type this.

Exactly 1 hr ago as i hit this send button.... (just re-checked them)
