Porter I don't know enough about to be quite honest. I think a lot would depend on who the OC is and make him interview for his job like no ther.

Keeping Suddes is a must.

Everyone else we can do better. Akina is closer to retiring and would rather move him to Rucker's role if I had to keep him on staff.

Darryl Wyatt - Keep - Agreed. Very good recruiter also. If he left David Beaty from aggy needs to replace him. Might be tough to keep bc of co-OC title. Doubt the new coach will go that route.

Stacy Searels - 50/50 - Been coaching with one hand tied behind his back bc of offensive philosophies. OL this year has been better and he's getting more of his guys. Doubt he'd be back, but wouldn't bother me if he stayed. His ties to SEC might keep him around.

Bruce Chambers - Fire - Need to replace him with Claude Mathis or another current HS coach.

Larry Porter - Keep - Has ties to SEC and is a G-R-E-A-T recruiter. And we might have our 1st 1,000 yard rusher since Charles this year too.

Defensive Staff

Greg Robinson - Let him retire - Agree. Remember, he didn't want the job this offseason. Doubt he'd want it again.

Bo Davis - 50/50 - Saban let him leave once and come here so not sure if he'd stay. This needs to be the DC's call because he didn't work well with Diaz at all.

Duane Akina - 50/50 - Same as Davis. Biggest issue could be who the new DC is. If we hire someone with ties to DBs Akina could be gone. Probably need a fresh approach all the way around

Oscar Giles - Keep - Biggest issue with new staff is delegation of duties. Some teams split DL, some DBs and some LBs. Giles has done a good job IMO, but doesn't have a ton of skins and I think we could upgrade.

Davis- his recent success with an actual DC leading the charge has been great. Recruiting is why I may fire him.

Major Applewhite - keep, qb has been his issue this year which is not his fault, hes been handcuffed under brown, he bleeds orange and he convinced back to back rivals five star caliber backs to come here; I do think about hiring a new co offensive coordinator to get some new blood in the program

Stacy Searels - possible keep - I know the o line has plagued us for years but he hasnt been here for long and they are starting to control the los. I see how they perform through the rest of the season before I decide.

Defensive Staff

Greg Robinson - move to a different position- as much as I liked chizick and muschamp, robinson was my favorite prior to his return this year. He started texas run of strong defenses and could shut down the leach spread. Hes my guy but I dont think he has the will in him to coach defense for multiple years. I move him back to consultant with a more hands on role.

Duane Akina - Keep - too many skins on the wall; our secondary has been the strength of our defense for years; even during the first part of this year our issue was not the secondary.

Jeff Madden - Fire - what does this guy do besides run (really its a fast walk) out of the tunnel? I dont understand how he didnt get fired with davis from the reports I have read. It sounded like his workouts were unsupervised and therefore a lot of guys just didnt show. Also I am sick of watching him chant on the longhorn network...he gets paid for that!!! Wtf?
