Not sure which way they go on those combos as Co-OC. Will know very soon.

Watson hired to coach QBs.

Wyatt stays to coach WRs, for sure. Possibly co-oc

Thats what I've just heard.

JS posted this a bit ago. He stated that the Co OC title would possibly involve Wickline.

So...we know Riley is gonna be onboard?
No, the remaining question is whether it's Riley-Wickline or Wyatt-Wickline. So if it's Wyatt-Wickline, then I don't know what happens with Riley, if anything.

Wyatt staying means no Riley....can only have 5 offensive coaches

Wyatt

Wickline

Watson

Robinson

Chambers

Unless Chambers takes a recruiting staff role

Hope all this Co-Oc crappola is smoke. Give the job to one dude. Let him fly with it. Send Watson to the QB's.

How do we know Chambers is gonna actually coach? I thought he was being considered for an administrative staff position?

Not true...you can have 9 total assistant coaches. Right now we only have 3 defensive coaches confirmed. Charlie himself is the the 4th defensive coach...since he'll actually spend practices coaching instead of schmoozing with MMD's. We can potentially have 6 offensive coaches if that's the way he chooses to make up his staff.

True....then I guess Riley or whoever the other co-OC is could take the TE's

Co-Oc and Run Game Coordinator are just titles to get them more money. Like when a HC calls the plays he is really the OC or DC but he has a top assistant that he gives a title to. Looks better on a resume and gets you more money. Their will be 1 guy calling plays

My bad, you are correct...missed Vaughn. If he's making the call based on 5 positions then....

Watson - QB coach

Wickline - OL coach

Robinson - RB coach

Wyatt - WR coach

Then the OC will be the 5th coach and there will not be a TE coach...which is fine with me. The only TE coach worth having is Tim Brewster anyway.

Interesting that neither of our coordinators will coach a position. That's a bit of a different approach but works for me.

OC/WR - Lincoln Riley

Co-OC/QB - Shawn Watson

OL/Run Game Coordinator - Joe Wickline

RB - Tommie Robinson

WR/TE - Major Applewhite

Riley has coached WR, so makes sense for Watson to be a QB coach?

hope this is it....
