A year from now the Super Bowl  like so many Super Bowls before it most fans watching will have forgot the score much less who won the game. The only one keeping track is those spending 400 million to air there advertising and hoping they can hit a home run with the people watching the game. But for me what happens Wednesday could move Texas in the direction of a National Championship and help build the Longhorn Name and football team back to prominence. So for me Sunday is just  another day to get past  on our way to Wednesday and a great recruiting class and a great job by CS. My friends y'all have a great and blessed week

For me, the Super Bowl is about the food.

Made some Bob Armstrong queso, homemade smoked bacon for BLTs and enjoying these great foods with friends and a bourbon!

My friend you are a dang fine cook. I don't need to ask who you are pulling for I have a good idea. My friends y'all have a blessed week

Actually Jim, I don't care

I'm an Oiler fan from way back. I'm a man w/o a team, my friend.

Me as well Joey.  Had an uncle worked in the front office of the Oilers.  It's never been the same for me.

Wow!! Jim...you nailed it..old friend.

HOWEVER.....that was one heckuva a fun way to finish the game. Both teams standing toe to toe and slugging it out.

I just don't agree.  For a lot of fans that is true, but for many that love football, we will remember this game for a longtime

Meaningful competition is, to me, always compelling and last night was compelling at the highest levels.

The NFL does it right, IMHO,  by and large you have to play well to make the playoffs ( Carolina was an exception this yr) and when in the playoffs the games are usually high quality and very competitive.  It hurts when you lose for fans and the team..

It is true I am not as connected emotionally to my pro team as I am to Texas, but its pretty close.

As far as enjoying football when I have no dog in the fight, give me the NFL, great players, highly entertaining and many if not most games go down to the wire.

Man, I know this feeling.

Disowned the Oilers and the NFL when they left for TN. Been in DFW now for 18 years, so I passively watch the Cowboys. I guess I might care about a SB if DAL or HOU are playing in it.

Otherwise, it's about my square bets and food!

Ahhhahahaha... I get your point bring on NSD. That day has much more value to me...

Having seen the outcome of the SB... People will remember this one... As the SB with the worst play call ever, in the final seconds. hahaha...
