Whats your name, and where you from?

Born in Odessa. Raised up in East Mountain just north of Longview. Worked and lived in longview for over 30 years and remarried and now live about half a mile from Carlisle High school. Fairly easy to see my name is Doug.

Greetings Gents,

Please allow me the honor of introducing myself to this "totally cool" website. My name is Winston Malveaux, and I grew up upon the suburbs of Beaumont, TX. My parents made certain that I had the opportunity to attend the Hamshire-Fannett ISD. Elementary School..."Littlehorns".....Middle School..."Shorthorns"....."High School"...."Longhorns" (Get the picture) my "Horns" have been "up" all of my life.

Moved to Houston in the very early 80's, and later graduated from Texas Southern University. I have been employed for several years as a government contractor as per Fluor Daniel Government Projects. I have worked basically all over the Theater of Afghanistan for the US Military. No matter how exhausting or how excruciatingly dangerous....I simply love it.

Gentlemen please trust me upon this.... there is no better site to focus upon, than to admire the HCN's (Host Country Nationals) of Afghanistan...walking around from day to day wearing their burnt orange Texas gear.

Basically every camp that I have worked at....I leave a very big impression upon the locals in regards to the Texas Longhorns. They root for them like crazy whenever we are able to view games upon the military networks. I have spent a small fortune on ordering tshirts, momentos, souvenirs, ....everything Texas....they have to have it.

So, when you lay down to sleep tonight...please place a smile upon your face....and just bare in your heart ....that when it comes to the Texas Longhorns.....it is not just the eyes of Texas....

Name is Scott. Born and raised in Houston. Went to UT from '89-'91 and UT Houston Medical School '92-'96. Am an interventional neuroradiologist by training but currently am Medical Director for Multiple Sclerosis for a major pharmaceutical company. Live in the hell that is Cleveland, OH with my wife (native Clevelander) and two daughters but support the Horns unquestionably (just ask all my neighbors). Looking forward to the day we eventually move back to the Great State (whenever that may be).

My name is Earl.

Just kidding. My name is hornrush. Family is generations of UT going back to the origins of the "pooooor okies! chant that drove the okies crazy. Born and raised in Texas and now live in Boston.

Hook'em!

My name is David, live in Dripping Springs. Born and raised in Austin and love the Horns. Looking forward to Texas being relevant again.

My name is Greg and I was born and raised in Victoria, Texas. I graduated from The University then moved to Philly to attend law school. Took the bar and stayed, but I am now the president of the Texas Exes Philly Chapter.

I am Benny. I am the Sports Information Director at Trinity Valley Community College, where co-offensive coordinator Darrell Wyatt played. Prior to my current position, I was at the Athens Daily Review for 27 years, serving the last 25 as sports editor. That means I got to cover Wyatt's career as a Cardinal. At the college, I have the privilege of watching our TE John Thomas play. He, of course, has verbally committed to the Horns. He is having a big year with 14 receptions for 196 yards and 1 TD in 8 games. Teams are struggling to match up with him. I love this site and am looking forward to watching it grow.

Mi llamo Pablo from Cedar Park.

I had the pleasure of tailgating with Big Mike, KT, Matt and Nelson at the Grove last year. And yes it was priceless to watch Big Mike "crash" the TV show being filmed by Destination America there about 3 tents over from us. :-)

Brian, here. I'm kind of an old fart: graduated McCallum High in '69, finally got my UT degree ten years later. Although I grew up in Austin (Dad was a UT professor), I've lived on the coast of Maine for half my life now. I'm a writer and type designer. In fact, several of my font designs are modeled after the handwriting of heroes of the Republic of Texas—including one named "Texas Hero," which is where I got my username. (I ain't nobody's hero, but I am the only guy in my county with a Longhorns decal on the back window of his pickup.)

Hook 'em.

Name is Edward. Born in Bryan, Texas. It's ridiculous people think because we're next door to college station we're fans of that junior varsity team. Currently live in Houston. Graduated from Texas State c/o 2001 and done post grad work at UT.

Chris, UT c/o 2001. Grew up in Cedar Park but now teach/coach in Sugar Land. Joined the OB migration to continue getting updates from guys that are willing to share. Different handle over here and here's the story behind what I'm using. My sophomore year in high school I make the varsity baseball team. My last name is not the easiest to pronounce so when some senior was trying to call me out on something out came crotchole. The name didn't really stick but I never have to put numbers after my handle.

My name is Dustin Baker, I'm South Texas born and raised. Living in Corpus Christi. I work in the highly glamorous (pffft) insurance business by day and I moonlight as a wedding and portrait photographer, which is much more fulfilling. I have been a Horns fan my entire life, and I am teaching my two sons the same on a daily basis.

I am David born and raised in Austin (Austin High). I am a Real Estate Appraiser and am married with three sons in college. Glad to be here away from the venom that TOS has become.

Personal Motto : Live a life that glorifies Christ, because you may be the only Bible some people ever read.

David from Mesquite. Love everything about the Horns and Austin. Ready for the major men's sports- football, baseball, and bball, to get their act together and return to the winning ways of Texas sports.

Paul. Born in SA. Went to UT for undergrad and law school, class of 2013. Working in Austin, but waiting with bated-breathe on those Bar results.

My name is Billy. Born and raised in South Texas. Been rooting for the Horns many years. One son is at UT getting his degree, after serving in the Army for six years. Glad I found this site. It's much better than some of the other sites around.

My name is Andy. Grew up a LSU Tiger (they're still near and dear), have been a Longhorn fan since the Marty Akins days and graduated from the UT Medical Branch in '95. I'm married to a Baylor Bear (who's converted to burnt orange for the most part) and have 2 boys who walk around telling anyone who'll listen that "We boo the aggies. Hook'em Horns!"

I am a lifelong west Texas resident currently living in San Angelo. BBA, UT class of '77, glad to see I'm not the only old fart on the board.
