Defensive Backs Darwin Cook and Terrence Garvin were arrested for shoplifting apparently from a store called Sheetz. Any WVU fans have the details?

Sheeet, man! What were they stealing? Smokes? Beer? Seriously yet another reason to pay college players a li'l something.

Gatorade and other snacks is what I am hearing. They could have at least ripped off a nudie mag or something equally impressive.

Gatorade and Doritos. Not very smart. Both are starters.
BTW Sheetz is a gas station.
I do not understand these kids that do this stuff. If they are totally broke and hungry this means a whole different thing. If it was just laziness and stealing for the fun of it then they should be dealt qith accordingly. What is West Virginia going to do to them?

Sheetz is a very popular gas station is PA, WV, OH, NC, SC. These guys, who are both solid defensive starters, stole snacks.

No other way around it ....this was stupid. Completely stupid. In the end, though, these two will be punished by conditioning. WVU has a huge hill beside the stadium(Law School Hill) that has been known to kick a few butts over the years. They'll have plenty of time to run the "snacks" off.

Not that this is too bad of an act but is Holgerson a disciplinarian? Meaning will he sit guys no matter how good they are if they really screw up? Or does he pull a Les Miles?

At this point we just don't know. And that's mostly because he hasn't been in that situation yet. WVU has had a couple players make dumb mistakes. Being drunk in public, stealing Doritos, etc ....but nothing "serious." So we'll see ....

Like Jon said we really dont know. Our stud FR QB got caught drunk driving the night before the Spring game and he didnt get to participate at all in the game.

It happens at every school unfortunately. We just lost a pitcher from our baseball team because he tried to take the mound when he was hungover as hell. On one hand you want these kids to live up the college life but when you are an athlete on scholarship - you damn well better conduct yourself appropriately. Those scholarships shouldn't be taken for granted because as we know, there is always someone else out there waiting to take it from you.

What is so odd to me is that this incident happend back in April and just now came to light.
Maybe they have been living off of Doritos and Gatorade for the last month and just got caught?
