Washington landslide.

Any of y'all following this story? I haven't seen anything discussed here. It's about 4 hrs north of me, and several hours west of principal.

It's a pretty sad situation. A landslide wiped out an entire neighborhood located about 30 mins NE of Seattle. Currently the unofficial counts are 24 dead; 176 reported missing.

If you have a second, please say a prayer for those folks up there. It's a very bad deal for the folks of Oso, Arlington & Darrington, WA. The debris field is about one square mile and 30 to 40 feet deep in places, making the recovery/rescue effort extremely difficult.

I've read a little about it and it's extremely sad. Definitely praying for those effected.
