Bellaire Episcopal OL Walker Little will announce his decision tomorrow. In talking with a bunch of sources over the last few hours there isn't much information coming out on him. It's believed to be a two-way race between Texas and Stanford, and while the Longhorns had some positive energy coming into this week it looks like that might not be enough. No one is saying anything definitively, but Walker is an exceptional student who has always known the opportunities Stanford has for him. Our sources weren't giving any hints away on which way this might go, so Texas is still certainly in the picture. EJ Holland at 247 reported that he wasn't feeling good about things, and I can tell you with first-hand knowledge that EJ is the closest person in the industry to that particular recruitment. We will keep a close eye on things tomorrow, but as of right now there isn't a lot to go on and the things we do have to go on aren't overly positive.
If Texas were to lose on Little I'm not sure who they would target at offensive tackle. The fact is that the timetables were tough for Herman and company here, but this was a badly needed win to strike the first blow on what we believe to be a very good recruiting staff.
