Know we have a big day today....Boyd/Hill and visit with Kai Locksley, but am wondering what our interest level might be or what Vernon Adams interest might be in us.  I realize that he visited Oregon last weekend and that he quarterbacked Eastern Washington, but just like to hear others thoughts or ideas on possibility of trying to gauge his interest concerning becoming a graduate transfer to TEXAS.

I was hoping that Adams would be our backup plan if Murray stayed with the aggies. Unfortunately, he's visiting Oregon this weekend and is expected to commit with the Ducks.

Thought he visited last weekend.  Maybe Strong could get on the satellite phone, stat!!!

He has a 4 hour math exam today.  Locke will start the season opener against E. Washington.

An entertaining day in the new age of media/news/reporting....

1. Several outlets, without citing sources, claim that Adams passed & confirmed his transfer.

2. The college football media cites those outlets and says Adams' transfer is confirmed.

3. The outlets in #1 retract and delete tweets and reports.

4. A reporter with a cited source says Adams would not know a result until tonight.

5. After getting his result, Adams and several outlets (citing sources) confirm his transfer.

I like to think of the media as participants in a triathlon. Those most desperate for a win tend to take off before the person before them has reached the clear.
