Turner

Myles needs to start recruiting Zimmerman. Apparently, those two are very close. I've actually seen a few RTs on Twitter where Zimmerman's mom even calls the two "like brothers". We've offered him, so maybe with a good season and Myles he might look at Texas.
What do you know about what kind of player he is?

This is what Rivals has to say about him ... "Thin big man isn't a typical low post banger but does have a physical edge to him. Very smooth from end to end and highly skilled with the ball. Shoots well to 17 feet, hits jump hooks and is a well above average ball handler and terrific passer. Must add strength."  Apparently he is a high/low post player, 7'-0" 215 lb.  Not that it matters, but his photos show that he has an extraordinarily long  neck.  Rivals has him ranked as the no 4 center in 2015.

Barnes Talks Texas Newcomers by Kevin Flaherty

"Texas coach Rick Barnes said the Longhorns have had positive impressions of their newcomers.

Barnes said Turner provided offensive versatility in that he can stretch a defense or score inside, while also providing rim protection defensively. Turner hasn't worked with the coaches yet, as he's been practicing with the Team USA U-18 team.

"All that's going to help him," Barnes said.

Barnes noted that fellow freshman Jordan Barnett was "willing to listen. He's willing to work." He said that Barnett moved his feet well and had a chance to be a "terrific defensive player," and eventually a versatile threat himself.

"He's a terrific athlete," Barnes said. "He makes some things look very easy."
