He trained TC I think.  He is criticizing Texas staff for not playing the freshmen RB's.  He appears to be apologizing to Toniel Carter for recommending UT to him.  Then praises HoeU rb coach for playing his frosh rb's.  

Least it appears so.

Other schools play the freshmen RB's.  He mentions HoeU specifically which plays their freshmen RB but so does USC, Baylor, okie state, etc.  I tend to agree with him.  

I am beginning to think Stan Drayton is the culprit.  Might be TH being stubborn with his practice thing as well.  Who knows.  Anyone can see Porter is not an explosive runner.  Carter and Young both ran very well vs SJSU in mop up time.  

Why does this rb thing have to be about Porter and Warren.  Play the young guys they run more fluid and fast than other two MAIN guys anyways.

Granted it was SJSU but give the kids a chance.  Porter and Warren are not lightning in a bottle.  Who knows maybe Carter and Young, or even Kirk could add some explosiveness to our non existent running game.

He’s probably subtweeting about Carter’s lack of carries. I wouldn’t mind seeing the young backs either, but stuff like this 3 games into a kid’s freshmen season is an overreaction.

Carter would be in the same situation or worse behind those backs at GA.

He's a true freshman let the kids get stronger, master the offense, and earn his snaps.

Not many kids can come in and compete year one.

Maybe blocking is the issue.  Blocking by the running backs is more important now than ever, with our porous O line.  O line depletion is bad enough, we sure can't afford to lose our quarterbacks.

I get that but there are not many who come in and can beat our 2-4 upperclassmen, it's still very rare.

You basically have to be a Peterson - Fornette type RB.

Really getting tiresome hearing of players whining about playing time when they could get off their butts and try to earn it. The entitlement mindset is a large part of what got UT to this level in the first place.
