I'm holding out hope he comes, but Saban saying nothing at this point does nothing to evidence he is coming to UT or is in play. He has denied such reports at every turn (one only a couple weeks ago) and signed his extension. I don't think he cares about the speculation or forum members biting their nails over his silence and believes this will continue to happen no matter how many times be denies it until UT has named a coach. He's smart enough to know it's fruitless, only gives fire to the rumors, and frankly he probably doesn't give a hoot.

That's terrible logic. All of the candidates outside Gruden have current coaching jobs. It wouldn't be in their best interest to come crawling or even knocking at our door with that being the case. There's a reason coaches always deny interest up until their announcing taking the position. Everything you hear is PR moves and what the coaches say in their best interest, and does nothing to prove no one wants the job.

I believe that McPhaul is telling the truth about what he is being told. I just don't always buy what his source is saying. But I feel that way about all the sites. The different sites and their reporters are being truthful about what they are hearing. It's their sources that at times may be stretching the truth.
