I can understand it.

Princewill broke a contract and had the opportunity to pay the settlement fee. He chose not to. Not sure why, he's making good money at LSU.

It seems unfair to break a contract with a school, then play an important role in their demise on the field.

I'm with Ole Miss on this one.
 
I wonder if Lane Kiffin and company have taken a page from the Jerry Jones playbook of creating drama before the season and/or a game to create publicity in the media.
 

Ole Miss sued Umanmielen and LSU offensive lineman Devin Harper on July 27. The Rebels are seeking close to $1 million in penalties -- $550,000 from Umanmielen and $400,000 from Harper, plus attorneys' fees and court costs -- in a breach of contract complaint.

Here is the interesting part:

Sources previously told ESPN that the lawsuit is more about Ole Miss forcing LSU to account for the $950,000 on its revenue sharing cap, rather than recouping money from its former players.
