The issue with the 2nd and 3rd tiebreakers is that it is likely that the tied teams won't all share a common opponent.I am curious on tie breakers on SEC title game.
In a nut shell Texas, Tennessee, and ags control their own destiny. Win out and you are in.
If Texas wins out and Tennessee loses to Georgia then how does the tie breaker work? Im guessing its Georgia because they are the only team to beat us?
"SEC’s tiebreaker rules run six tiers deep. The first tiebreaker is head-to-head record and the second is the tied teams’ record against common opponents. That second tiebreaker will probably be enough to break a tie. But in case it isn’t, the record against the best common conference opponent or opponents is the third tiebreaker and the best winning percentage of conference opponents is the fourth."
Yea probably right. I am sure we will probably know after next weeks game. The issue with the 2nd and 3rd tiebreakers is that it is likely that the tied teams won't all share a common opponent.
If Texas loses to piggy, but beats aggy, UGa beats Tennessee then we have a hot mess. That would probably equal 6 teams at 6-2. The tiebreaker would make peoples heads hurt.Yea probably right. I am sure we will probably know after next weeks game.
If we win out we know its going be one of the following if they win out:
Georgia - Tennessee winner next week, Georgia loss they are out, Vol loss leaves them them still in it with 2 losses
Bama
Ole Miss
Mizzu
LSU
its confusing, of course we need to beat pigs and ags which I believe we will do.

Wow Netflix blows. Buffering the Tyson fight every 5 minutes
Unless you're aggy and you're playing Appalachia State lolscheduling a high school team really is a good idea, now that Texas is in the SEC. It’s as good as a bye week. You can get your backups more reps, but also a week of healing for those that are injured.
