We should face Georgia next weekend to start the play in Omaha.
Will know more on the Omaha games and starts tomorrow. Bama is up and only needs 6 outs . Not certain of the Kansas vs blow u game

Both coaches and players showed great sportsmanship after the game. Coach Schloss made the picture taking, and greeting fans wait until after the hand shake.
The post game press conference had lots of really good lines from both Coach Schloss and some of the players. Will try to post some later unless the Hornsports staff wants to post them.

So, from post game stuff to post game press conference. Here we go:
If you haven't seen the chest bump between Cozart and Tinney after the last out. I would see if it's on YouTube:
Doubt Tinney did a check bump with a player bigger than him and it showed as he bounce backwards.
A Rod learn that at Texas we only dogpile after a CWS title not before.
Coach Schloss said it is great to be removing the sign that says 38 trips to Omaha.
As Coach Schloss said at the start of the season; he felt the team was 3 yrs. away from being what he wants, but he loves the makeup and togetherness that this team has. He wants them focusing on the teams that they will/could face not anything going on with portal info or anything else.
Cozart (a freshman remember that) said winning conference titles, regionals, super regionals don't make us memorable, but winning the CWS championship does.
Got to love that mindset
Cozart did ask Tinney if he was okay after the chest bump. He said yes, but no one has chest bumped him like that before.
Riojas: not cutting my hair until after the season or so.
Riojas: there is trust in the starters with the bullpen even if fans don't.
The team is leaving in the morning to UT of Omaha to play at our 2nd home.
Now certain if I or if Aaron or Mitch or whoever on the hornsports staff will start a new tread as the road there is done. Now we are there.
It's interesting that the side we are on is only SEC teams. There is only 1 on the other side.
