MEOW!
...something is indeed very wrong here.
I for one, can never ever recall feeling so very conflicted during any Longhorns gridiron season. Just like so many of the Longhorn faithful... I want Mack Brown to depart Bellmont Hall, as of yesterday. But in the same context... I want his football team, to win as many football games as possible. Are we all going crazy? How can we honestly "justify" this remarkable behavior?
If there is such a thing as a disease called "self betrayal", then I can assure you, that I am completely symptomatic.
The hard fought battle (concluding in overtime) between our Longhorns vs Mountaineers, shall indeed be a battle for the ages. At the end of the game, I was overjoyed, jubilant, feeling the burnt orange spirit. But as soon as the on field commentator started to interview Mack brown as he was departing the field... all I could visualize was the scoreboards of (BYU vs OLE MISS).
...is this season over yet...
