*****NOTE***** Dillon Peters will miss Saturday's scheduled start due to a salivary duct stone.  He is in Austin, and is listed day-to-day. Dillon did not make the trip to Morgantown yesterday.

French will still go tonight, but I'm not sure how the rotation will go from there.  Will Thornhill get the Saturday start?  Will we go with Schiraldi at some point?  Not sure at this point.  I'll keep y'all updated as this plays out.

Tonight's matchup:

Jr. LHP Harrison Musgrave (4-3, 1.95) vs. Jr. RHP Parker French (5-3, 2.08)

Today's game is an hour ealier than usual; 5 PM CST. 

The only video I've see available in on the WVU website.  I don't know yet if it's PPV or free. 

Also, KVET 1300 will carry the game.

Due to the early start, I'll do some PBP.  I've got a 6 PM CST HS game to be at, and may ask for a bit of help if need be, so stay tuned.

Texas needs to be patient tonight. Musgrave will throw strikes one inning and then walk a few batters the next. If Texas stays patient I think they can have a couple big innings.

Me too. It seems pretty common in HS ball these days, that funky computer-camo look.  Our HS has one, and it's awful.

not sure why augie loves disch falk so much.  it kills our batters' confidence, kills us on the road when we play on natural grass and dirt.  if i was in patterson's shoes it would be torn up and rebuilt or moved.  

this start at morgantown is just awful.  its as if we've never seen a natural field before.

i guess (hope) we can get it together.  what amounts to three errors in an inning reminds me of our first game against cal.

yuck.

come on guys, let's try to play some baseball.  we're lucky as hell to get out of that inning with only one run given up.  sheesh.  somebody needs to give those boys something for their nerves between innings.  i'd suggest some whisky.
