Texas vs Stanford ***Game 4 Thread (1 PM PST)***

[Matt Cotcher]

Logan James, junior LHP, is the new pitcher for Stanford. He goes 5'11", 185 and is from Fair Oaks, CA.

He thinks clams are funny.

[utisdabomb12]

Great start for Texas.

[armadillo slim]

Swing away, ben

[Matt Cotcher]

Garrido will use those 4 consecutive walks as a teaching moment for Hinojosa and his pitching wedge. CJH is too good and doesn't need to press - which is exactly what Garrido talked about in post-game after USD.

[armadillo slim]

Come on, keep it going

Defense continues to impress, (Marlow's E notwithstanding)

[Matt Cotcher]

From the Game 3 recap thread (Marlow I'm looking at you):

This team's ceiling on defense is ridiculously high. They're going to make a couple of highlight reel worthy plays in every series. Their challenge is going to be to execute 100% of the easy ones and know when to pocket the baseball instead of trying to make a play.

Thanks to this outburst, we won't hear from gbt today. Good times.

[armadillo slim]

Umps have managed to keep the trees within a touchdown so it's still just a one score game

[GBT]

Thrilled for the start, but that crap ( Stell....SMH ) has nothing to do with THE PROCESS Augie talks about....That was damn STUPID of Stell not to run when he hit the ball !!!! You learn that in "the process" of little league.

[Matt Cotcher]

Umps have managed to keep the trees within a touchdown so it's still just a one score game

<Tiger Woods nods in agreement.>
