*****Texas vs. Oklahoma State*****

You don't wait until 5 minutes to go in the game to get in the refs faces AFTER they just called a bogus call. Yes the refs were bad. But what did the offense do when they went away from Daje? The team finding new ways to lose each week falls directly on the head coach.
Wrong.  When a call is bad its bad.  Having him sit there and say nothing or NOT question the call wasnt changing the the way the calls were being made.  I do NOT fault CS getting upset.  I am surprised he didnt get upset earlier.

I have been watching football for almost 30 years and seen Coaches get a few flags.  Shit I watched Mack Brown get in the face of refs and never get a flag that late in the game especially when the game was on the line.  That was bullshit.

This team is not good enough to overcome the refs and their own mental mistakes.  These refs were the worst I have seen in years.  Show me that defensive holding even where it was questionable.  Hell it was offensive holding not defensive.  Hell for that matter show me fumble recovery when Walsh was laying on top of Duke and Duke clearly had it in his hands or the roughing the QB calls.

All complete bullshit, stop blaming CS for the loss.  The refs were screwing us the entire effing game.  Be real.

If I blame CS for anything its starting Booney and Duke Thomas and J Grey.  They are all terrible.

BTW, I haven't seen the stats on our offensive linemen, but it appears that the more experience they have, the more they get caught holding.

Taylor Doyle seems like a nice young man, but where is Jake Raulerson? Still too small?

I am sorry but this game falls on the Coaches  for their game management of the last offensive series.  You had OT in the palm of your hand but you coach your way out of that chance by calling a stupid time out which instead of just letting time tick off. I agree that the Refs were terrible, but we still had a chance to play for the win in OT and I think our defense was playing much better towards the end of the game and our chances for victory were good. Are we getting better , maybe but I watch Jim Harbough just destroy BYU today with a Michigan team that everyone said would take a few years before you saw them be competative. I see Coach GQ at Tech seems to have made a huge jump in improvement from last year to this year with what I would say is much less talent. I am frustrated of course so there is a lot of emotion in my post but Coach Strong and his staff have to own this one and if he cannot start turning close games into victories then we will become a version of Tennessee which has been irrelevant for over 15 years and they are still struggling to win games.

Officiating wasn't good, but Strong's team are so damn undisciplined. Texas turn around is going to be a long process. I don't know why it takes so damn long at Texas to turn it around or at least start looking better. Someone tell me why so long? Don't want to hear how bad Mack left us. I know that as does everyone else. Other teams change coaches and start looking better in the first year with a lot less recruiting.

Staring 1 & 5 in the face, no bowl, new coaching staff. 3 or more years of rebuilding is what I see

I hear you on this. I think it takes a bit of selling your soul (i.e. Baylor). With the hole we were in, it was ALWAYS going to be a 2-3 year turnaround. I do think CS left a few games on the field between last year and this year.

Sorry....This staff cannot win. We are stupid...Why in the **** do you has a head coach GO FOR IT on 4th and 12 from the 40 yd line....When as a defensive minded coach you should always play field position. After that call we never recovered field position......There were several other coaching moves that hurt us today, but I find that the worst of all.....

Charlie must go.....Red was right, he is not head coach material for a program like Texas. I will be there at DKR when 1000s of others don't show up, but I have no hope of returning to glory with this staff leading our program.

A note from HD:

Jerrod Heard was not made available for post game interviews, which sparked a lot of questions about if he is injured. I spoke with Texas media relations regarding Heard's absence and was told he is "under the weather" with a stomach issue, but it's "nothing serious."

Posted Scipio Tex's article again. I agree completely with the article. The refs were corrupt.

"The game outcome was determined by the officiating crew. Any other viewpoint is ignorant of objective and empirical reality. Right now, I'm simply interested in determining what kind of human garbage we're dealing with: pro Cowboy or anti-Texas game riggers, corrupt gamblers, straight up racists who want to undercut a predominantly black coaching staff at the state Flagship or simply petty small men who decided early on they were going to "get" Texas for some unknown slight. I truly don't know. I've just never seen anything so blatantly purposeful in a football game."

Sorry still learning how to post on this site apparently. I was questioning the whole 2nd half if jerrod was injured. Didn't seem to have the burst he had earlier in the game, and too many tackles by the D lineman as he came through the LOS. I find it hard to believe that OK lite's defense is that much more athletic than Cal. We need him completely healthy for TCU obviously.

16 penalties for 128 yards... Are you f'ing kidding me?! Annnd OSU had 40 yards worth of penalties. I saw the game from within and it was heartbreaking and enraging all at the same time... Those refs are pieces of shit, pure and simple. How did we just lose home field advantage?! Didn't even get a fair shake! Our D played an awesome game and the O did just enough to keep us in it and then we get F'd by the refs and another kicking error. Unbelievable...

For any of you who don't know Paul, for him to make a statement like that is absolutely damning. He loathes it when fans blame officiating for a loss; however, this was so egregious, it suggests an ulterior motive. That motive could be as despicable as racism or bribery. It goes beyond ignorance. This crew should be penalized severely and should never be allowed to officiate another game together. In addition, they should never be allowed to officiate another Texas game.
