Ok. F it. I've been a big Charlie apologist, but this is inexcusable. His marquee win was against OU last year and may have to do it again to save his job. The Miles firing moved the time table up for Herman and the ND win has less meaning by the day..

I think Charlie has to go. Poor game management, how do you allow a delay of game on a FG attempt? He has no feel for the flow of the game. He had 2 weeks to prepare his defense and still the same results. As a defensive mind I expect better.

Apparently there is a group of BMDs who are already trying to work on a  Herman deal

Its not unanimous

And, IMO at least, Strong has never had 100% of Perrin's support

But Texas firing him will be its on set of unique issues

I feel bad for Strong

I was a strong supporter and I think he is a good coach but it's not working here. Revolving door of assistants, disorganization, poor defense, poor special teams. The offense has been fixed, thanks to Gilbert and crew, but we still have the same serious issues everywhere else. Texas should be much better in year three and I'm not seeing it yet. Very very frustrating.

Go Horns let's have a great second half!!

I hope you're right Juan. I would love to see Herman at UT. I've had Charlie's back through the turmoil, but I can see now he's in over his head at Texas. They need to open the check book if we go in a different direction because Herman himself has said it's going to take something "special" to get him out of Houston.
