1 down for Boswell. He draws a walk. 1 down, runner on 1st

Cantu gets robbed by a diving 3B to turn the DP.

Heading to T5, Texas leads 1-0. Interested to see what Pierce does at 1B

 
Ware gets a 2 strike base hit on a hanging breaking ball. Runner on 1st, no outs

Mendenhall lays down a SAC bunt to move Ware to 2B. 1 down

Zaragoza pops out to Hamilton. Johnston left that one hanging again, but Zaragoza missed it. 2 down

Hollas draws a full count walk. Runners on 1 & 2, 2 outs

 
Walbergh strikes out. Johnston gets out of another jam.

Heading to B5, Texas still leads 1-0

 
Todd singles to CF. 

Hamilton strikes out, 2 down. 

Fink in to pitch for Wiles. 

Kody flies out to LF. Nothing doing for the Horns. Heading to T6

 
Flansburg grounds out to McKenzie at 1B. 1 down

Walker appears to foul a ball off of his foot, but doesn't. Great acting job there. He then proceeds to draw a walk. Runner on 1st, 1 out

Johnston is now up to 77 pitches.

O'Brien draws a full count, and draws a walk. Johnston having control issues now. 

Martinez is now up to the plate with 2 on and 1 out. Big situation here for Texas. 

 
Martinez hits a first pitch single in the gap. We are now tied 1-1. Runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out

 
Ware is really fighting it out with Johnston. On the 8th pitch of the AB, Johnston gets a huge 4-6-3 DP to end the inning. We are now tied at 1-1 heading into B6. Johnston's day *should* be done. 

 
Gurwitz draws a lead off walk. If he's near 100%, he is a threat to steal here. 

Mathis comes in to pinch run for Zane, so never mind. 

Jones hits a pop up to SS Zaragoza. 1 down, runner on 1st. This is a prime hit and run situation. 

McKenzie rips the first pitch into left field for a single. Runners on 1st and 2nd, 1 out. Boswell is up.

Boswell strikes out on a fastball up and outside. 2 down for Michael Cantu. 

OU pitching coach Skip Johnson out to the mound to visit Fink. 

New pitcher for OU with 2 outs. Berry, the RHP is in to face Cantu

 
Ball gets by Martinez, and Mathis swipes 3B. Runners on 2nd and 3rd for Cantu, 3-0 count. 

Cantu strikes out after getting ahead 3-0. Texas strands 2 runners, both RISP. 

Heading to T7, tied 1-1.

 
Shugart nails Mendenhall in the head with the 2nd pitch. He appears to be ok and is heading to 1B. Runner on 1st, no outs

 
Zaragoza lays down the SAC bunt and advances Mendenhall to 2nd. 1 down

Hollas barely misses a liner down the 3B line that cuts foul. Hollas doesn't miss his next opportunity, and hits a blooper that gets by Jones in LF. Hollas on 2B, 1 out. OU leads 2-1

 
Harris pinch hitting for Walbergh. Shugart catches him looking on a fastball on the outside corner. 2 down, runner on 2nd

Flansburg draws a walk on 4 straight pitches. Runners on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs

Walker hits a blooper directly to Hamilton. 

Texas heads to B7 trailing 2-1

 
Reynolds leads it off and JUST gets under it. Big fly out to the warning track. 1 down

Todd hits a sharp grounder down the 3B line, but Flansburg makes a great stop and throw to first. 2 outs

Hamilton hits the fist pitch just off the top of the right-center wall, and gets a double. 2 outs for Kody Clemens. 

Clemens chops a grounder to 1B. Berry gets out of the jam. Texas is down to their final 6 outs. Heading to T8, still 2-1 OU
